Edge-on galactic distribution of 339 Low-Mass X-ray Binaries (A&A 684, 2024)
Abstract
We present an updated and expanded catalogue of Low-Mass X-ray Binaries (LMXBs) in the Galaxy, combining multi-wavelength data from the INTEGRAL hard X-ray observatory and the Gaia astrometric mission. This work provides refined positions, optical counterparts, and updated physical parameters for a large sample of Galactic LMXBs, enabling new statistical studies of this population.
